Navigate the Art World
Use the Internet to Make Connections
Gain Visibility and Generate Sales

Feel like you know the possibilities of what you can achieve but are not sure how to get there?

Want to show in galleries but not sure how because they claim they don’t accept submissions?

Are you applying to exhibitions and not sure why you’re not getting accepted?

Do you wish you would just get discovered by a gallery or at least invited to exhibit in a group show?

Are you emails and DMs to galleries, curators, and even other artists going unanswered?

Do you find yourself applying to a bunch of opportunities and hoping they will lead to something?

What if I told you that you could navigate the art world smoothly and make meaningful connections that could lead to a solo exhibition and sales, and achieve any goals you have simply by:

  • Learning WHAT galleries and other industry professionals are after.

  • Being consistent with your intention and communicating it

  • Letting go of the “starving artist” mindset

  • Presenting yourself and your work online at the level it deserves

  • Learn what actually works so you apply to the right opportunities and make the most of them

  • Building community and making moves by connecting with anyone and everyone on the internet

  • Building your own personal roadmap to achieving your own personalized goals in the art world

Marina Granger has nearly 20 years of NYC Art World Experience. When she was a Gallery Director she saw so many artists get the runaround. Now, you won’t have to.

Dearest Artists,

I invite you to work with me in The Artist Academy. It’s a program that has proven to be successful and helpful to artists 10x already! I started this program because I hated to see talented artists continue to go under the radar and feel disempowered. I have worked in the NYC Art World for nearly 15 years before I started The Artist Advisory in 2018. For a while, I was a gallery director and traveled to various art fairs, sold lots of art, and helped build art collections and careers. And while I got to work with some incredible people, I also witnessed some not-so-awesome people consistently giving the artists the runaround. I hated seeing talented artists treated like they were less than. After all, there is no art world without artists.

The internet brought a massive shift to the art world. Suddenly, those who know how to position themselves can connect to anyone and everyone online. You can curate the way you want your work to be showcased online and that is massively empowering if you know how to.

So, when I realized that I knew exactly how I could help I launched the very first Artist Academy in 2019. There have been hundreds of artists who have participated in this program. I invite you to join this incredible community, take the leap, and take the next step in your career.

XO
Marina

Do not let common misconceptions stop you from pursuing what you WANT to achieve. I want you to know that YOU:

  • still make artwork consistently if you only make 3-5 artworks a year and yes you can have a gallery exhibition if you make that much work.

  • can still have one clear intention and message that is the umbrella under which all that work falls and communicate it clearly even if you make a variety of work.

  • do not need to send unsolicited submissions blindly to get a gallery’s attention.

  • can actually reach that mega collector you heard about because you can connect to nearly anyone online.

  • do not need to spend hours a day making content for social media.

  • can walk into an exhibition’s opening reception and be greeted with joy by the curators.

  • do not need to show for 10 years to get a gallery exhibition.
